CHIROPRACTIC Treatment Fees

I want as many people as possible to experience the many benefits Chiropractic care can bring to your overall health and wellbeing, this is why I keep my fees as low as possible as the only way you will truly feel this benefit is by experiencing it for yourself.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

INCLUDES:
• Examination
Report of FindingsFirst Treatment. Rarely I will find that treatment is not ideal and will advise if this is the case.

FOLLOW-UP TREATMENT

Initial consultation appointment must have been completed before follow up treatments can be made. A progress report is given at every session to keep you informed about your progress.

COMMON QUESTIONS I GET ASKED:

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Many symptoms will require an initial course of treatments. The number of treatments needed varies from person to person and what is right for you will be explained at your ‘Report of Findings’.

We will never charge you hidden fees or leave you with unexpected costs.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE INITIAL CONSULTATION?

We want as many people as possible to be able to try chiropractic, we have seen the many wonderful things it can do but are fully aware it is not for everyone. This is why we keep our initial consultation fees as low as possible, so you can try it and find out for yourself.

Review of your health history
You will be asked to complete a health history questionnaire which gives us a good overview of your general health history, this is important in understanding how your past may have contributed to your current chiropractic health.

Chiropractic Examination
(Orthopaedic, Neurologic and Palpation)
Your dedicated chiropractor will carry out an initial chiropractic examination, covering flexibility, range of movement, posture and many other general areas.

Postural & Spinal Assessment
As part of your examination we will cover your posture, a key part of assesing your general chiropractic health.

A report of findings
Following your initial chiropractic consultation we will book a date for you to return so we can run through a full report of findings with you. This will explain what was found in the consultation and x-rays, our recommendations and your on-going treatment plan.

First Treatment
If you’re happy with the proposed treatment plan I recommend for you then we can start with your first treatment at this point and start your journey to recovery.

WILL IT HURT?

This is one of the most common questions we get: Does getting a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

If you have been putting off seeing a chiropractor about your aches and pains because you’re nervous, getting an adjustment by a chiropractor will not hurt — and it should help quite a bit.

The most common side effect of a chiropractic adjustment is minimal soreness, but in the end, it leads to the relief of painful or uncomfortable symptoms.

If you do experience soreness after getting a chiropractic adjustment, ice and stretching over the next day or two can help.

DO I NEED TO BE REFERRED BY A GP?

You do not need to be reffered by a GP, you can simply just get in touch and make an appointment.

Chiropractic services are very rare within the NHS as most Chiropractors are trained individuals or private companies.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

An initial chiropractic consultation at Timar Chiropractic is a two-appointment process.

Your first appointment will involve a comprehensive review of your health history, a chiropractic examination, postural & spinal assessment.

At your second appointment your results and assessment findings will be fully explained to you along with your treatment options.

You can also have your first treatment at this appointment.

CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT

During each treatment session’s the chiropractor will ask you about how you are feeling today and how you have felt following your last treatment. At Timar Chiropractic treatments are performed clothed (only shoes, belts and outer layers need to be removed).

I will ask you to lay on the chiropractic table where they will check each of your spinal joints and perform any adjustments required. By applying focused and localised pressure to the spinal joints, they restore motion to the affected joints reducing nerve irritation, which in time allows the body to heal itself and function better.

At the end of the treatment I will explain the areas I have treated during the sessions and provide information on after-care and your next appointment. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your treatment.

WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED.

I am fully insured and registered with the General Chiropractic Council, and most major health insurers including Westfield, Simply Health, AXA and Bupa.
